Soft Nutty Sweet Squares (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3½ cups powdered sugar.
02 - 1 cup peanut butter (smooth).
03 - 1 cup unsalted butter.
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

# Instructions:

01 - Pop the butter, peanut butter, and vanilla into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat it up for 90 seconds, stir everything well until it’s silky and smooth.
02 - Slowly mix in powdered sugar—one cup at a time. Blend after each addition until it’s fully combined and thickened.
03 - Take a square pan (8-9 inch), rub butter on it to stop sticking or use parchment paper. Spread the mix across evenly and gently flatten it out so it’s smooth.
04 - Let it chill in the fridge for a good 4 hours or so until it’s firm to the touch. Slice it into 1-inch pieces and stash them in a sealed container in the fridge.
05 - If you’re not up for the microwave, combine the peanut butter, butter, and vanilla in a pan over low heat. Keep stirring while it melts into a smooth mix, then pull it off the heat before adding the powdered sugar just like above.

# Notes:

01 - This treat needs a few hours in the fridge, so it’s great for preparing ahead. Perfect for sharing at parties or gifting to friends.
02 - To nail that creamy fudge texture, make sure the peanut butter and butter are thoroughly melted and mixed together.
