Quick One Bowl Bread (Printer-Friendly Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 3 big ripe bananas (or use 4 smaller ones if you'd like)
02 - 1/2 cup melted butter (pick unsalted)
03 - 2/3 cup sugar (regular, white kind)
04 - 2 large eggs, at room temp
05 - 1 tsp vanilla (the extract kind)
06 - 2 cups of standard baking flour
07 - 1 tsp baking soda
08 - 1/2 tsp baking powder
09 - 1 tsp cinnamon
10 - Just a pinch of salt – roughly 1/4 tsp

# Let's Cook:

01 - Heat the oven to 350°F. Coat a 9x5-inch loaf pan with some grease.
02 - Grab a big bowl and use a fork or masher to squash the ripe bananas down.
03 - Put the melted butter into the bananas and whisk it in. Then add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla, mixing well as you go.
04 - Gently add the flour, cinnamon, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Fold everything together until it’s all combined.
05 - Pour the batter into your loaf pan and slide it into the oven. Bake for an hour, checking if it’s done with a toothpick. If it comes out clean, it’s ready!
06 - Let the bread sit in the pan for about 5-10 minutes. Then place it on a wire rack so it can cool completely.

# Cook's Notes:

01 - Feel free to toss in some chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruit for extra flavor.
02 - Bananas that are really overripe work the best.
03 - You could swap the sugar out for coconut or raw sugar instead.
04 - Makes a great freezer item; keeps for up to three months.
