Sweet Hawaiian Cream Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Rolls

01 - 1 package (12 rolls) King's Hawaiian sweet bread
02 - 6 tablespoons butter, salted and melted
03 - 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
04 - 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar

→ Cream Cheese Filling

05 - 1 large egg
06 - 8-ounce block of softened cream cheese
07 - 2 tablespoons of regular white sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 375°F and get a 9x13 pan lightly greased.
02 - Cut out squares from the tops of the rolls, then carefully scoop out some bread without breaking the bottoms.
03 - Stir together melted butter, cinnamon, and sugar. Spread it generously inside and on top of the hollowed-out rolls.
04 - Whisk the cream cheese until smooth, then mix in the sugar and egg until silky.
05 - Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each roll opening, then bake for around 15 minutes until golden brown and set.

# Notes:

01 - You can add some fresh fruit, like berries, on top before popping them in the oven.
02 - These are best enjoyed while warm.
