Glazed Cod Honey-Soy (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cod fillets (about 5-6 ounces each).
02 - 2 tablespoons of honey.
03 - 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon of sesame seeds.
05 - 1 teaspoon of minced garlic.
06 - 1 teaspoon of rice vinegar.
07 - 1 teaspoon of sesame oil.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger.
09 - 1 tablespoon of thinly sliced green onions.

# Instructions:

01 - In a bowl, stir together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and sesame seeds until blended.
02 - Using a paper towel, dry the cod. Spread 1 tablespoon of the sauce on it and let it marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes (up to 2 hours).
03 - Move the oven rack to the upper position. Turn on the low setting for the broiler and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
04 - Put the fish under the broiler for 12-14 minutes on low, brushing it with more sauce every couple of minutes. Switch to high for the last 4-5 minutes until the top gets golden.
05 - Carefully move the fish to plates and sprinkle with the green onion slices.

# Notes:

01 - Halibut or sea bass work well instead of cod.
02 - Swap rice vinegar with lime juice if needed.
03 - You can grill or pan-fry the fish if you prefer not to broil.
