                In a bowl, stir together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and sesame seeds until blended.

                Using a paper towel, dry the cod. Spread 1 tablespoon of the sauce on it and let it marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes (up to 2 hours).

                Move the oven rack to the upper position. Turn on the low setting for the broiler and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

                Put the fish under the broiler for 12-14 minutes on low, brushing it with more sauce every couple of minutes. Switch to high for the last 4-5 minutes until the top gets golden.

                Carefully move the fish to plates and sprinkle with the green onion slices.
