Classic Pea Salad with Bacon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup sour cream
02 - 1/4 cup mayonnaise
03 - 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
04 - 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
05 - 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
06 - 1/8 teaspoon pepper
07 - 4 cups frozen peas, thawed
08 - 1/3 cup diced red onion
09 - 3/4 cup cubed sharp cheddar cheese
10 - 8 slices bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled

# Instructions:

01 - In a large bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, sugar, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
02 - Add thawed peas, diced red onion, cubed cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon to the dressing. Gently stir to ensure all ingredients are evenly coated.
03 - Refrigerate the salad for at least 1 hour before serving. Garnish with additional crispy bacon, if desired.

# Notes:

01 - Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Freezing is not recommended as the dressing may separate, and the texture of the peas and bacon may be compromised upon thawing.
