# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - 1 pound ground beef, 90/10 or 80/20
03 - 2 cups beef or chicken broth
04 - 1/2 cup tomato sauce or puree

05 - 1 tablespoon chili powder
06 - 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
07 - 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
08 - 2 teaspoons chili flakes
09 - 2 teaspoons paprika
10 - 2 teaspoons soy sauce
11 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
12 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
13 - 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
14 - Kosher salt, to taste
15 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and break it up with a spoon or spatula. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, until most of the pink is gone.
02 - Add broth, tomato sauce, chili powder, cocoa powder, Worcestershire sauce, chili flakes, paprika, soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper to the pot.
03 - Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low. Cover the pot and cook for 35 to 40 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent sticking.
04 - Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve hot.
