Blueberry Cake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 1/2 sticks (6 ounces) cold unsalted butter, plus extra for greasing
02 - 2 (21-ounce) cans blueberry pie filling
03 - 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries (about 10 ounces)
04 - 1 (15.25-ounce) box of cake mix (yellow, lemon, or white)

→ Serving

05 - Optional: Vanilla ice cream

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish lightly with butter.
02 - Start by adding the pie filling evenly to the bottom of the dish. Then sprinkle the cake mix so it spreads evenly over the filling. Slice the butter thinly and layer the slices across the entire top. Lastly, sprinkle the fresh or frozen blueberries over everything.
03 - Pop the dish into the oven and bake for 60 to 65 minutes. It’s done when the topping is crunchy, golden, and bubbly.
04 - Dish it up warm, and if you'd like, pair it with some vanilla ice cream.

01 - Using frozen blueberries? Don’t thaw them.
02 - Keep the layers separate—don’t mix them up!
