Set your oven to 400°F to get it ready.

Warm up a big pan on medium heat. Toss in the chopped onion, diced green pepper, ground beef, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Keep stirring now and then for 10 minutes, until the meat gets brown and the peppers and onions are soft.

As the filling cooks, slice the hoagie rolls down the middle (or split the baguette into four equal pieces and halve each chunk). Lay them on a baking sheet.

When the beef mix looks done, pour in the Worcestershire sauce and give it a stir. Lay a portion of the provolone slices on top of the mix, lower the heat, and let it sit for a couple of minutes until melted. Stir the gooey cheese into the rest of the filling.

Using tongs, scoop the beef and melted cheese combo onto the prepared rolls, splitting it evenly.

Top each roll with the rest of the cheese slices. Pop them in the hot oven and bake for 3-5 minutes, just until the cheese melts and the bread is golden and crispy.
