Warm Creamy Hot Chocolate (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 cups whole milk.
02 - 4 cups heavy cream, split up.
03 - ⅓ cup cocoa powder, unsweetened.
04 - 12 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate, chopped finely.
05 - 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk.
06 - 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract.
07 - Optional toppings - whipped cream, marshmallows, or candy canes.

# Instructions:

01 - In your slow cooker, combine 2 cups of heavy cream with the cocoa powder. Whisk it well until it’s smooth and lump-free.
02 - Now toss in the rest of the cream, the milk, the condensed milk, the chocolate pieces, and the vanilla. Stir everything nicely.
03 - Put the lid on and let it go on low heat for about 3 hours. Check every 20 minutes to give it a stir so it doesn’t burn.
04 - Keep the cooker on its warm setting. If it feels too thick, pour in some extra milk to thin it out. Can stay warm for around 3 hours.
05 - Scoop it into cups, then pile on marshmallows, whipped cream, or crushed candy canes for a fun finish.

# Notes:

01 - Always mix cocoa with cream first to avoid clumps.
02 - Go for high-quality chocolate for richer flavor.
03 - Perfect for keeping warm during gatherings or parties.
04 - If it thickens up too much, just add more milk.
