Turmeric Lime Shrimp (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 lb shrimp, cleaned and peeled
02 - 4 minced garlic cloves
03 - 3 tablespoons butter
04 - A dash of sea salt and ground black pepper
05 - 1/4 cup finely chopped shallots
06 - 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra-virgin

→ Sauce

07 - 1 lime, juice and zest
08 - 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
09 - 1 1/2 teaspoons fish sauce
10 - 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped small

→ For Serving

11 - A loaf of toasted crusty bread

# Instructions:

01 - Dry shrimp with paper towels, toss with pepper and salt. Heat oil in a big pan over medium-high. Cook the shrimp on each side for 2 minutes, take out, and set aside.
02 - Melt butter in the same pan, then toss in shallots and garlic. Cook for a few minutes until it smells great. Mix in the fish sauce and turmeric.
03 - Add shrimp back to the pan. Sprinkle in lime zest, lime juice, and cilantro. Stir everything together until coated nicely. Put it on the table with warm bread.
