# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 cup (168g) semi-sweet chocolate chips, with some extra for adding on top
02 - 1 cup (168g) milk chocolate chips, with more for sprinkling on top
03 - ½ cup (59g) cocoa powder
04 - 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
05 - ½ teaspoon kosher salt
06 - 1¼ teaspoons baking soda
07 - ⅓ cup (77g) sour cream, room temp
08 - 3 ripe bananas, mashed (should be about 1¼ cups)
09 - 2 large eggs, set out to reach room temperature
10 - ⅓ cup (73g) vegetable oil
11 - 1 cup (200g) packed light brown sugar

# Let's Cook:

01 - Heat your oven to 350°F. Get a 9x5-inch loaf pan ready by spraying it with some nonstick baking spray.
02 - In a big bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda.
03 - Take a separate bowl and use a whisk to combine the brown sugar and vegetable oil. Stir in the eggs and sour cream until smooth.
04 - Pour the wet mix, bananas, and chocolate chips into the dry mixture. Gently fold everything together until just blended.
05 - Spoon the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle some extra chocolate chips on top. Bake it for 60 minutes, then cover with foil and bake for another 20 minutes.
06 - Let the loaf cool down in the pan first, then take it out, slice it up, and enjoy.

# Cook's Notes:

01 - This recipe uses cocoa powder and two kinds of chocolate chips for a triple chocolate treat.
02 - The bananas work best when they’re super ripe.
03 - You can store this in the freezer, and it’ll last up to three months.
