# Ingredients:

→ Crust

01 - 150 grams butter
02 - 160 grams all-purpose flour
03 - 135 grams dark brown sugar
04 - 1 teaspoon salt

→ Topping

05 - 200 grams dark brown sugar
06 - 15 grams all-purpose flour
07 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
08 - 3 large eggs
09 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
10 - 100 grams chopped walnuts or pecans
11 - 140 grams shredded sweetened coconut flakes

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 163°C (325°F) and grease a 23x33 cm (9x13-inch) baking dish.
02 - In a large bowl, mix the butter and dark brown sugar until well combined. Add the flour and salt, mixing until the dough comes together.
03 - Transfer the dough to the prepared baking dish and press it into an even layer covering the bottom. The crust will be thin.
04 - Bake the crust for 13-15 minutes or until it just starts turning golden.
05 - In a large bowl, mix the dark brown sugar, flour, and baking powder until evenly combined.
06 - Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the dry mix, then mix for 1-2 minutes until airy. Fold in the coconut and chopped nuts.
07 - Spread the topping mixture evenly over the baked crust, then bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges begin to turn golden.
08 - Allow the bars to cool completely before slicing into squares or rectangles.
