Sugar Cookie Cheesecake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sugar Cookie Base

01 - 6 tablespoons melted, unsalted butter
02 - 2 cups sugar cookies, crushed (homemade or store-bought)

→ Creamy Cheesecake Mix

03 - 3 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
04 - 1 cup white sugar
05 - 3 eggs, large size
06 - ½ cup sour cream
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
08 - ⅓ cup festive sprinkles (green, red, and white colors)

→ Decorative Topping

09 - Optional whipped cream
10 - Additional Christmas-colored sprinkles for decor

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 325°F (160°C). Take your 9-inch springform pan and lightly grease it. Combine the melted butter with the cookie crumbs, press the mix firmly into the pan's base, and bake for about 8-10 minutes or until faintly golden. Let it cool completely.
02 - Whip the softened cream cheese with sugar until smooth and creamy. Beat in the eggs one at a time until blended. Mix in sour cream and vanilla, then carefully fold in the sprinkles. Don’t overdo it!
03 - Pour the creamy filling atop your prepared crust. Bake for 50-60 minutes—it should slightly jiggle in the middle. Turn the oven off, leave the door partly open, and let it rest there for an hour.
04 - Take the cheesecake out and cool it till it's at room temperature. Then put it in the fridge for at least 4 hours or even overnight.
05 - Right before serving, dollop on whipped cream and sprinkle with extra festive sprinkles if you'd like.

# Notes:

01 - It tastes better if chilled overnight.
02 - The middle should wiggle a bit once baking is done.
