Garlic Herb Steak Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/4 pounds of steak, cut into cubes and trimmed.
02 - 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
03 - 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper.
04 - 1 teaspoon of garlic powder.
05 - 1 teaspoon of kosher salt.
06 - 2 tablespoons of butter, unsalted.
07 - A handful of fresh parsley, chopped small.
08 - Toasts, Swiss cheese, and mustard for optional grilled cheese.

# Instructions:

01 - Toss the steak chunks with olive oil, garlic powder, pepper, and salt. Let it rest for at least 15 minutes or as long as 24 hours in the fridge.
02 - Place the steak in a really hot cast iron pan. Let it cook for about 3 minutes without moving it, so it crisps up.
03 - Stir the steak and continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes until it’s as done as you like it.
04 - Remove the pan from heat, drop in the butter, and stir to blend. Top with some parsley for a fresh kick.

# Notes:

01 - You can prep the steak in the marinade up to a day in advance.
02 - Keep leftovers in the fridge; they stay good for 4-5 days.
03 - Perfect to serve as a starter or a main course.
