Spiced Waffles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup heavy cream (goes in the syrup).
02 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract (used for syrup).
03 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda (used for syrup).
04 - 1 cup sugar (for making syrup).
05 - 1/2 cup butter (part of syrup).
06 - 3 tablespoons molasses.
07 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves.
08 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg.
09 - 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon.
10 - 1 teaspoon ground ginger.
11 - 1 teaspoon baking soda.
12 - 1 teaspoon baking powder.
13 - 3/4 teaspoon salt.
14 - 4 large eggs, yolks and whites separated.
15 - 1/3 cup vegetable oil.
16 - 1 cup milk.
17 - 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt.
18 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar.
19 - 2 cups all-purpose flour.

# Instructions:

01 - In a big bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and all the spices.
02 - Whisk together the egg yolks, oil, milk, molasses, and yogurt in a separate bowl.
03 - Use a mixer to whip egg whites until they're light and hold their shape.
04 - Stir the wet and dry mixtures together, then fold in whipped egg whites gently.
05 - Pour batter into a waffle iron greased and heated as per the waffle iron guide.
06 - Heat butter, cream, and sugar over medium. Let it boil a few minutes, then mix in vanilla and baking soda.
