Hot Dog Chili (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce.
02 - 1/3 cup water.
03 - 5 ounces tomato sauce.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon sugar.
05 - 1 tablespoon yellow mustard.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder.
07 - 1 pound lean ground beef (90/10).
08 - 1/2 cup ketchup.
09 - 2 teaspoons chili powder.
10 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
11 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.

# Instructions:

01 - Warm up a medium pan on medium heat and toss in the beef along with the water.
02 - While cooking, break the beef into super tiny bits so it's nice and fine.
03 - Carefully get rid of extra water and grease after the beef is cooked.
04 - Scoop the beef into the slow cooker insert.
05 - Pour in the ketchup and tomato sauce over the beef in the slow cooker.
06 - Stir the yellow mustard and Worcestershire sauce in until they're fully mixed.
07 - Sprinkle in the chili powder, sugar, salt, pepper, and onion powder.
08 - Mix everything up well so it's all evenly combined.
09 - Pop the lid on and set the slow cooker to LOW heat.
10 - Let it cook for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, giving everything time to mingle.
11 - If possible, stir it now and then while it cooks.
12 - Test the thickness before serving and add a splash of water if it's too thick.
13 - Keep it on warm in the slow cooker until you're ready to serve.
14 - Pack leftovers in a sealed container and pop them into the fridge.
15 - Reheat small amounts as needed, thinning with a bit of water if it's too thick.
