Simple and Delicious Cake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 large eggs, room temperature
02 - 150g Greek yogurt, plain or vanilla-flavored
03 - 150g all-purpose flour
04 - 100g granulated sugar
05 - 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
06 - 1/2 tsp baking powder (optional)
07 - Pinch of salt
08 - Optional add-ins: lemon zest, cinnamon, chocolate chips, or fresh berries

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or round cake pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar together until light and frothy. Stir in the Greek yogurt and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
03 - Sift the flour, baking powder (if using), and a pinch of salt into the wet mixture. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing—the batter should be smooth and slightly thick.
04 - If desired, fold in extras like lemon zest, cinnamon, chocolate chips, or fresh berries.
05 - Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
06 - Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve plain, dusted with powdered sugar, or topped with honey, jam, or fresh fruit.

# Notes:

01 - Greek yogurt adds moisture and a slight tanginess, keeping the cake soft and flavorful without heavy fats.
02 - The combination of eggs and flour creates a tender crumb that’s neither too dense nor too airy.
03 - A modest amount of sugar keeps the cake light and versatile for sweet or semi-sweet toppings.
