# Ingredients:

→ For the Patties

01 - 1 lb ground pork
02 - 1 lb ground beef
03 - 1 sleeve saltine crackers, crushed
04 - 2/3 cup milk
05 - 2 eggs, beaten
06 - 1 small yellow onion, minced
07 - 1 green bell pepper, minced
08 - 1 tablespoon dried dill
09 - 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
10 - 1 tablespoon dried parsley
11 - 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
12 - Kosher salt, to taste
13 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
14 - 2 tablespoons butter

→ For the Mushroom Sauce

15 - 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
16 - 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
17 - 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
18 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
19 - 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
20 - 4 cups beef stock
21 - 2 tablespoons sour cream
22 - Kosher salt, to taste
23 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment or aluminum foil. Set aside.
02 - In a large bowl, combine ground pork, ground beef, crushed saltines, milk, eggs, onion, bell pepper, dill, garlic powder, parsley, and nutmeg. Season generously with salt and pepper and mix until well combined.
03 - Form mixture into six patties, about 2 inches thick each. Transfer patties to the prepared baking sheet and let rest for 30 minutes.
04 - Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Transfer 2-3 patties to the skillet and brown well on the first side, about 5-7 minutes. Flip and sear on the second side until well browned. Remove to a paper towel lined plate to rest while browning the remaining patties.
05 - Add the remaining butter to the skillet, followed by the mushrooms. Add Worcestershire sauce and garlic, cooking while stirring often and scraping up any stuck-on bits from the bottom of the pan.
06 - Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually stir in beef stock until smooth, then bring the mixture to a simmer.
07 - Add the browned patties back to the pan, cover with a lid, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 30 minutes.
08 - Uncover, stir in sour cream, and season to taste with salt and pepper.
09 - Serve the patties with the mushroom sauce and enjoy.
