Peanut Butter Balls Krispies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups of crushed Rice Krispies cereal.
02 - 1 cup powdered sugar.
03 - 1 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter.
04 - 2 tablespoons regular vegetable shortening.
05 - 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips.
06 - ¼ cup softened butter.

# Instructions:

01 - Cover a baking sheet with wax paper or parchment paper.
02 - Use a large mixing bowl to blend the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and butter until smooth. Add in the crushed cereal and mix evenly.
03 - Roll the mixture into small balls and arrange them on the sheet. Pop them in the fridge for at least a half hour to firm up.
04 - Put the chocolate chips and shortening in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 1 minute, then stir well. Keep heating for 20-30 seconds at a time, stirring after each, until the chocolate is totally smooth.
05 - Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and set them back on the tray. Let them rest until the coating hardens.
06 - Seal in an airtight container. Store in the fridge for a few days or freeze them for weeks.

# Notes:

01 - Both creamy and crunchy peanut butter work fine.
02 - Freezing them lets them last weeks.
