Parmesan Spinach Cheese Twists (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
02 - 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
03 - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
04 - 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
05 - 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
06 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
08 - Salt, to taste
09 - Pepper, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface to smooth it out.
03 - In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
04 - Spread the cheese and spinach mixture evenly over one half of the puff pastry.
05 - Fold the other half of the puff pastry over the filling, pressing down gently to seal the edges. Cut the pastry into strips, about 1 inch wide.
06 - Twist each strip several times and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
07 - Brush each twisted pastry with the beaten egg for a golden, glossy finish.
08 - Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the twists are golden brown and puffed up.
09 - Allow the twists to cool slightly before serving.

# Notes:

01 - You can add more seasoning like chili flakes for a spicy kick.
02 - Use frozen spinach as an alternative, but make sure to squeeze out excess water.
