One Bowl Apple Cake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cake Base

01 - 200 g caster sugar
02 - 200 g unsalted butter, softened
03 - 3 large eggs
04 - 200 g plain flour
05 - 1 tsp baking powder
06 - 1 tsp vanilla extract or paste

→ Filling and Topping

07 - 3 dessert apples, peeled and chopped
08 - 2 tbsp golden caster sugar (optional)
09 - 1 tbsp icing sugar for dusting (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C fan). Grease and line a 9-inch springform pan.
02 - In one bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
03 - Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
04 - Stir in the flour, baking powder, and vanilla until combined.
05 - Peel, core, and chop apples into small chunks. Fold into the batter.
06 - Spoon the batter into your prepared pan. Sprinkle the top with golden sugar, if using.
07 - Bake for 45 minutes or until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
08 - Cool slightly, dust with icing sugar, and serve warm or at room temperature.
