Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Drizzle olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add sausage and cook until browned. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute; set aside.

Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta for 8 minutes until well undercooked. Drain and return pasta to the large pot.

Count out 18 pepperoni slices and set aside. Cut the remaining pepperoni into chunks.

In the pot with the drained pasta, add browned sausage and garlic, pasta sauce, chopped pepperoni, and a handful of mozzarella cheese. Stir until combined.

Transfer the pasta mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and whole pepperoni slices.

Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the pepperoni is crispy.
