Key West Lime Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup of fresh-squeezed lime juice.
02 - 8 tablespoons of melted butter.
03 - 1 tablespoon of white sugar.
04 - 3 egg yolks.
05 - 1 can of condensed milk, sweetened.
06 - 1 1/4 cups of crushed graham crackers.
07 - 2 1/2 tablespoons of grated lime zest.
08 - Optional: Use whipped cream to decorate.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn on the oven and set it to 350° F.
02 - In a mixing bowl, stir melted butter together with graham crumbs and sugar until sticky and combined.
03 - Press the crust mixture into the base and up the edges of your glass pie dish. Pop it in the oven for 8 minutes until it looks slightly toasted.
04 - While waiting on the crust, combine the condensed milk, lime juice, zest, and egg yolks in a bowl, stirring until smooth.
05 - Once the crust is out, pour in the lime mixture. Level the surface and let it bake for another 15-20 minutes until it firms up.
06 - Take the pie out and allow it to cool fully. Cover and chill in the fridge once it's completely cool.
07 - Cut into 8 slices and, if you'd like, add whipped cream on top before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Let it cool off fully before chilling in the fridge.
