In a bowl, mix together the ketchup, mayo, and pickles. Pop it in the fridge 'til you're ready.

Split the beef into 3 even chunks. Flatten them into 1/2-inch thick patties, a bit bigger than the buns. Press your thumb in the center of each patty to make a dent.

Sprinkle both sides of every patty with pepper and salt.

Pour a cup of water into the bottom of the fryer. Spray the basket with cooking spray.

Cook the patties at 350°F for 8 minutes. Place the cheese slices on top, then cook another minute or two until melted.

If you'd like, toast the burger buns in the air fryer for one minute.

Stack the buns with your sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, and the finished patties. Enjoy!
