Honey Orange Loaf Cake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
03 - 3 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
04 - 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
05 - 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
06 - 1/4 teaspoon fine salt
07 - 1/3 cup vegetable oil
08 - 1/3 cup strong coffee, room temperature
09 - 1/3 cup honey
10 - 1 large egg, room temperature
11 - 2 tablespoons plus 1 1/2 teaspoons orange juice
12 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a 9x5-inch loaf pan with baking spray. Optionally, line it with parchment paper. Set aside.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
03 - Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the oil, coffee, honey, egg, orange juice, and vanilla extract. Whisk to combine.
04 - Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean with a few moist but not wet crumbs.
05 - Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.
