# Ingredients:

→ Custard

01 - 1 package King’s Hawaiian Rolls
02 - 2/3 cup half and half
03 - 2 eggs, beaten
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
06 - 2 tablespoons butter, cubed

→ Filling

07 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
08 - 4 tablespoons butter, melted
09 - 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
10 - 1/3 cup brown sugar

→ Cinnamon Sugar

11 - 1 cup granulated sugar
12 - 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon

# Instructions:

01 - Mix together melted butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar in a bowl until it forms a paste. Set aside.
02 - Mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a large bowl. Set aside.
03 - Cut Hawaiian rolls in half and spread softened cream cheese on both sides. Drizzle cinnamon paste over cream cheese and sandwich the buns together. Chill in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
04 - Whisk together half and half, eggs, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon in a large mixing bowl. Dip each chilled roll into the custard mixture for 15-30 seconds.
05 - Preheat a sauté pan over medium-low heat for 1 minute. Add one cube of butter and cook rolls in batches, searing each roll on at least 3 sides until golden brown. Each batch should take about 4-5 minutes. Wipe out the pan with a paper towel between batches to avoid burnt sugar.
06 - Transfer cooked rolls to the cinnamon sugar bowl and toss until fully coated. Place on a serving plate and serve warm.
