Grilled Cheese Pan (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 slices of sourdough or white bread, thicker cut.
02 - 1/2 cup of softened, unsalted butter.
03 - 8 ounces grated sharp cheddar.
04 - 4 ounces grated Gruyère.
05 - 1/4 cup of Parmesan, grated (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F and cover a baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Coat one side of each slice of bread with a thick layer of butter.
03 - If you're using Parmesan, press it into the buttered sides of the bread.
04 - Lay 4 slices, butter side facing down, layer on the cheeses, then put on the other slices butter side up.
05 - Start baking on the bottom shelf for 4-5 minutes. Flip the sandwiches and bake 2-3 minutes more until nicely golden.
06 - Let it sit for a bit to cool down, then slice and enjoy.

# Notes:

01 - Go for the lowest shelf to get even browning.
02 - Spread butter right to the edges.
03 - Give it a short rest before cutting.
