Grandma’s Ground Beef Chow Mein (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound ground beef, browned and drained
02 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
03 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
04 - 1 onion, diced
05 - 1 cup celery, chopped
06 - 1 can (8 oz) water chestnuts, drained and chopped
07 - 1 cup uncooked white rice
08 - 1 1/2 cups water
09 - 3 tablespoons soy sauce
10 - 5 oz chow mein noodles

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
02 - In a large bowl, mix together cooked ground beef, soups, onion, celery, water chestnuts, rice, water, and soy sauce.
03 - Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish. Cover tightly with foil.
04 - Bake for 1 hour 20 minutes until bubbly. Remove foil.
05 - Sprinkle chow mein noodles evenly over the top. Bake uncovered for 10 more minutes.
06 - Let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
