Roasted Dates Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - About 3/4 cup goat cheese, softened.
02 - 12 ounces of large Medjool dates, pits removed.
03 - 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped into small pieces.
04 - A couple of sprigs of fresh rosemary, minced (about 2 teaspoons).
05 - One orange, use the zest and squeeze out 2 teaspoons of juice.
06 - A pinch of ground cinnamon, roughly 1/4 teaspoon.
07 - Sea salt, a little—around 1/4 teaspoon.
08 - Extra virgin olive oil, 3 tablespoons.
09 - Drizzle with hot honey to finish.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven to 375°F. Take each date, cut lengthwise, and stuff it with 1-2 teaspoons of goat cheese.
02 - Combine the orange zest, orange juice, cinnamon, chopped walnuts, rosemary, salt, and olive oil in a bowl.
03 - Lay the stuffed dates into a baking dish, then cover with the walnut mix.
04 - Bake for about 15 minutes. Let everything cool slightly, around 5 minutes, before serving.
05 - Put the dates on a plate or tray, drizzle a little hot honey on top, and enjoy warm.

01 - Can prep ahead of time and heat up before serving.
02 - Stays fresh for a week when kept in the fridge.
03 - Tastes best when served hot.
