Garlic Cream Cheese Bagels (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Base

01 - 6 bagels

→ Cream Cheese Mixture

02 - 8 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
03 - 1 tbsp white granulated sugar
04 - 1 tbsp condensed milk (sweetened)
05 - Small pinch of salt

→ Garlic Butter Sauce

06 - 1 large egg
07 - ½ cup melted unsalted butter
08 - 2 tbsp finely minced garlic
09 - 1½ tbsp fresh parsley (more for topping)
10 - 2 tbsp milk
11 - 1-2 tbsp Kewpie mayo
12 - 1 tsp oregano
13 - 3 tbsp parmesan, grated (plus extra to sprinkle)
14 - ½ tsp salt

# Instructions:

01 - Using a stand or hand mixer, blend the cream cheese, sugar, condensed milk, and salt in a bowl until smooth and fluffy. Put it aside for now.
02 - Combine the egg, melted butter, garlic, parsley, milk, mayo, oregano, parmesan, and salt together in a bowl. Stir until everything is blended well. Set it aside.
03 - Heat your oven to 350°F. Slice each bagel into 6 sections without cutting all the way through. Scoop out a small piece from each slice so there's room for the filling.
04 - Spoon the cream cheese mix into a piping or ziplock bag with a snipped corner. Gently fill every cut in the bagels with the mixture.
05 - Dip each stuffed bagel fully into the garlic butter sauce. Let any extra drip off, then place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
06 - Bake for roughly 11-13 minutes, or until golden and crisp. Sprinkle with parsley and parmesan for garnish. Let cool a bit and enjoy.

# Notes:

01 - Inspired by a popular bakery in LA, Calic Bagels
02 - Plain or flavored bagels can be used
03 - Kewpie mayo gives a richer taste than regular mayo
