Funfetti Cinnamon Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cinnamon Layer

01 - 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
02 - 1/2 cup white sugar

→ Dough

03 - 2 1/4 cups plain flour
04 - 3 scants tsp instant yeast
05 - 1/2 cup whole milk
06 - 1 egg, large
07 - 3 tbs sugar, white
08 - 8 tbs butter, softened, split up
09 - 3/4 tsp table salt
10 - 2/3 cup sprinkles (rainbow colors) kept apart, extra for dusting

→ Sweet Glaze

11 - 1 c powdered sugar
12 - 3 tbs milk
13 - 1/2 tsp vanilla

# Instructions:

01 - Combine cinnamon with sugar in a tiny bowl. Keep it handy.
02 - Blend butter (reserve some), salt, and sugar. Toss in milk, egg, yeast, and flour. Stir it up until smooth, then fold in a portion of sprinkles. Allow it to puff up in a warm spot for 90 minutes.
03 - Flatten dough into a 9x12 rectangle. Put butter over it, scatter the cinnamon-sugar and sprinkles. Roll it up and chop into 8 rolls.
04 - Lay out rolls in a buttered skillet. Cover them up and chill overnight. In the morning, let them sit in a warm area for 90 minutes until puffed up.
05 - Pop into a 325°F oven for around 30-35 mins until golden. Let 'em cool down slightly for 15 mins. For the glaze, combine powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla, then coat the rolls. Sprinkle more sprinkles for extra flair.
