Frozen Christmas Drink (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 5 cups of cranberry juice.
02 - 4 cups of water.
03 - 3 cups of orange juice.
04 - 1 1/2 cups (300g) white sugar.
05 - 4 liters of cherry-flavored lemon-lime soda, like Cherry 7-Up™.
06 - 2 cans (12 oz each) of frozen lemonade concentrate.
07 - Orange slices for decorating.
08 - Fresh cranberries for topping.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine sugar and water in a big pot, bring it to a boil over high heat, and stir now and then until you can’t see any sugar grains. This takes about 3-5 minutes.
02 - Take the pot off the heat. Pour in cranberry juice, orange juice, and the lemonade concentrate. Stir until the concentrate has melted down. You’ll end up with roughly 4 quarts of liquid.
03 - Let the juice mix cool completely. Next, pour it into a freezer-safe container with a sealable lid. Freeze overnight.
04 - Use a fork to scrape and break the frozen mix into slush. Fill a lowball glass with about 1 cup of the slush mixture. Top it off with the cherry soda. Decorate with fresh cranberries and orange slices before handing it over.

# Notes:

01 - Yields around 4 quarts of base slush.
02 - Needs at least a night in the freezer.
03 - You can make it a few days in advance.
