Fresh Fruit Donuts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Donuts

01 - 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
02 - ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
03 - 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
04 - ½ cup milk
05 - 2 large eggs
06 - ¾ cup sugar
07 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
08 - ¼ teaspoon salt
09 - ½ teaspoon baking soda
10 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
11 - 1½ cups all-purpose flour

→ Glaze

12 - ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
13 - 1-2 teaspoons milk
14 - 2 tablespoons fresh raspberries
15 - ½ cup powdered sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Turn the oven on to 350°F and grease the donut pan. In a medium bowl, mix the dry stuff together with a whisk.
02 - In a big bowl, whisk the wet ingredients. Slowly stir the dry ones into the wet mix, then gently add raspberries at the end.
03 - Spoon batter into the donut pan until about ¾ full. Pop it in the oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Let them cool for 5 minutes while still in the pan.
04 - Blend raspberries into a puree, then strain to remove seeds. Stir with powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth and the right texture.
05 - Dip donuts into the glaze after they’ve cooled. Let them dry for 10 minutes to set.

# Notes:

01 - You can use fresh raspberries or frozen ones.
02 - Avoid mixing the batter too much.
03 - Add milk to tweak the glaze thickness.
