Crispy Brussels Sprouts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
02 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper.
03 - A small pinch of red pepper flakes, if desired.
04 - 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
05 - 12 ounces of Brussels sprouts.

# Instructions:

01 - Slice the sprouts lengthwise after trimming the stems and pulling off any outer leaves.
02 - Put the sliced Brussels sprouts in a bowl and cover them with warm water straight from the tap. Wait 15 minutes before draining.
03 - Get the air fryer ready by setting it to 375°F.
04 - Once soaked, toss the drained sprouts thoroughly with the oil, salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, if you'd like a kick.
05 - Lay the sprouts in one even layer inside the air fryer basket. Let them cook for 12 minutes at 375°F. Don’t forget to give the basket a shake halfway through cooking.
06 - Move the crispy sprouts onto a dish and dig in while they're still warm.

# Notes:

01 - A quick soak cuts down on bitterness and ensures the sprouts cook evenly.
02 - If your air fryer is small, cook these in a couple of batches and shake often to avoid burning.
