Creamy Mushroom Dinner (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 teaspoon salt (or more to your liking)
02 - Black pepper, freshly cracked
03 - ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
04 - 1 pound of fettuccine noodles
05 - 16 ounces of mushrooms, sliced up fresh
06 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
07 - Parsley leaves for garnish
08 - 1 cup of water that you saved from the pasta pot
09 - 1 cup of heavy cream, full fat
10 - ½ cup of Land O Lakes® Butter, split into parts

# Instructions:

01 - In a large skillet, cook the garlic and mushrooms in 2 tablespoons of butter. Stir often until they’re almost caramelized, which takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Pour in the cream and melt the rest of the butter, letting it cook gently for a few minutes.
02 - Boil the fettuccine following the steps on the box. Before draining, scoop out a cup of the starchy water and set it aside.
03 - Mix the mushroom mixture with the pasta. Toss everything together with the Parmesan cheese and pour in a bit of pasta water to get the right sauce texture. Sprinkle some salt and pepper over it all to flavor.

# Notes:

01 - Feel free to add more mushrooms if you want.
02 - You can fix the sauce thickness by stirring in the reserved pasta water.
