Easy Chocolate Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 Tbsp of coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional).
02 - 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
03 - 1 cup powdered sugar.
04 - 3 tablespoons of softened salted butter.
05 - 1/2 cup of smooth peanut butter.

# Instructions:

01 - In a bowl, blend softened butter with peanut butter.
02 - Gradually mix the powdered sugar until everything's combined nicely.
03 - Pop the bowl in the fridge for about 15 minutes to stiffen it up.
04 - With your hands, create small 1-inch round balls.
05 - Line up the balls on a baking tray and chill them again, covered, for at least 20 minutes.
06 - Follow the chocolate chip package instructions to melt them.
07 - Using a fork, dip each ball into the melted chocolate for a coating.
08 - Allow the extra chocolate to drip off before moving on.
09 - Place the chocolate-coated treats onto a sheet of wax paper.
10 - Keep them covered in the fridge until you're ready to enjoy.

# Notes:

01 - Go with smooth peanut butter for the best result.
02 - Chilling the mixture between steps makes shaping way easier.
03 - These stay fresh in the fridge for up to two weeks.
04 - Freeze them for three months if needed.
05 - Adding a bit of oil while melting the chocolate gives it a creamier texture.
