Put your Chex cereal into a big bowl and leave it to the side for now.

Heat up the chocolate chips and butter in a microwave-safe bowl, doing 30 seconds at a time and stirring in between. Mix in the cherry gelatin until combined.

Drizzle the cherry-chocolate mixture over the cereal. Gently toss it so the cereal pieces all get coated.

In a large zip-top bag, combine the cheesecake pudding and powdered sugar. Toss the coated cereal in the bag and shake it around until everything's evenly covered.

Lay the coated cereal flat on a sheet of parchment paper to cool down. Once it's at room temperature, stir in the chopped cherries.
