Cheesy Joe Dip (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Blend

01 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
02 - 2 teaspoons kosher salt
03 - 1 small yellow onion, chopped up
04 - 1 teaspoon black pepper, ground
05 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar
06 - 2 pounds of ground beef

→ Flavor Mix

07 - 1 1/2 cups of ketchup
08 - 1 cup of beef stock
09 - 3 tablespoons of cornstarch
10 - 3 tablespoons of water
11 - 2 teaspoons of yellow mustard

→ Cheese & Pairings

12 - 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar, split in two portions
13 - Serve with crispy toasted bread slices or crunchy bagel chips

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to broil and place the rack 6 inches below it.
02 - In a skillet that's oven-safe, brown the beef with the onion, sugar, and seasonings. Remove grease if needed.
03 - Combine ketchup, broth, and mustard into the pan. Slowly add the mixture of cornstarch and water. Let it cook and thicken.
04 - Take it off the heat and stir in 1 cup of cheese till it melts. Scatter the rest of the cheese on top.
05 - Broil for 3-5 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and gooey. Pair it with chips or toasted bread, then enjoy.
