Get the oven hot at 375°F. Boil lasagna according to instructions, strain out the water, and leave to cool.

Cook sausage in a pan on medium heat till done, drain any grease, then mix in tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce, and Italian herbs. Let it simmer 5 to 10 minutes till it gets thicker.

In one bowl, stir together cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, egg, and parsley till it’s smooth and mixed well.

Coat a 9x13 pan with non-stick spray. Begin with 1 cup of meat sauce at the base, then lay 6 pasta sheets overlapping across the pan.

Use half your cottage cheese mix and a third of the mozzarella slices, followed by half the meat sauce and 1/4 cup parmesan. Start another round and end with the remaining cheeses. Cover with foil.

Bake with foil for 25 minutes, then without foil for 30 minutes until bubbling. Let rest for 15 minutes before serving.
