Cheesesteak Garlic Parmesan Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Bread and Spread

01 - 1 loaf of artisan bread (e.g., sourdough or ciabatta)
02 - 3 tbsp butter (softened)
03 - 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
04 - 2 garlic cloves (minced)
05 - 1 tsp parsley (optional)

→ Filling

06 - 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
07 - 1 lb (450g) thinly sliced ribeye steak or ground beef
08 - 1 medium onion (thinly sliced)
09 - 1 green or yellow bell pepper (thinly sliced)
10 - 4 slices provolone cheese (or preferred cheese)
11 - Salt and pepper to taste
12 - 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a bowl, combine butter, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, and parsley. Slice the bread in half lengthwise and spread the mixture evenly on both halves.
02 - Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes until crisp and golden.
03 - Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ribeye steak or ground beef, season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce, and cook until browned.
04 - Add sliced onions and bell peppers to one side of the skillet and sauté until tender. Mix the vegetables with the cooked meat.
05 - Spread the mixture evenly across the skillet and top with slices of provolone cheese. Cover and let the cheese melt for a few minutes.
06 - Spread the filling onto the bottom half of the toasted bread. Add additional toppings if desired, then place the top half of the bread over the filling.
07 - Lightly press the sandwich, slice into portions, and serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - For a twist, try using mozzarella or cheddar instead of provolone. For added crunch, broil the assembled sandwich for 2 minutes before serving.
