Set your oven to broil on high and move the rack to the top spot.

Warm up a cast iron skillet on medium heat, but don’t let it get too hot.

Scatter the shredded cheese mix over the whole bottom of the skillet evenly.

Keep an eye on the cheese as it melts and starts to bubble. This takes 2-3 mins.

Let the bottom of the cheese cook a bit longer until it crisps up.

Take the skillet off the heat. Let the cheese crust sit for about 2 minutes to cool.

Gently spread the marinara sauce all over the cooled crust.

Evenly layer all the toppings you want on top of the sauce.

Place your skillet under the broiler for 2-3 mins, keeping a close watch.

Heat until the toppings are cooked and the cheese looks melted, but not burnt.
