Caramel Apple Cream Crescent (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 2 8-count crescent roll tubes

→ Cream cheese filling

02 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
03 - ½ cup granulated sugar
04 - 1 tsp vanilla extract

→ Apple layer

05 - 1 21 oz can apple pie filling
06 - ¼ cup caramel sauce

→ Icing

07 - 1 cup powdered sugar
08 - 2 tbsp milk

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Arrange crescent roll triangles in a circle with wide ends overlapping in the center.
03 - Spoon apple pie filling in a ring around the base of the dough. Drizzle with caramel sauce.
04 - In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Dollop the mixture over the apple layer.
05 - Fold the tips of the dough triangles over the filling and tuck them underneath the base of the ring.
06 - Bake for 20–22 minutes or until the crescent dough is golden brown. Let cool slightly.
07 - Whisk powdered sugar and milk together to create a smooth icing. Drizzle over the cooled crescent ring.
08 - Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.

# Notes:

01 - For extra crunch, sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts on top after baking.
02 - For added spice, include a dash of cinnamon or apple pie spice in the apple layer.
