Homemade Easter Candy Fudge (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 3 cups powdered sugar
02 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
03 - ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
04 - ½ cup light corn syrup
05 - 1 drop yellow gel food coloring
06 - 1 pinch kosher salt
07 - 1 tablespoon milk

→ Chocolate Layer

08 - 16 ounces milk chocolate, melted

# Instructions:

01 - Mix the butter with corn syrup until smooth. Stir in the vanilla, powdered sugar, salt, and milk. Separate the mixture into two portions and add yellow food coloring to one of them.
02 - Line a 9-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Spread half the chocolate at the bottom, then layer the white filling, followed by the yellow layer. Finish by covering it all with the remaining chocolate.
03 - Chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes or until it sets. Using a knife warmed in hot water, cut it into squares.

# Notes:

01 - For smoother squares, use a heated knife.
02 - Semi-sweet chocolate works fine too.
03 - Best stored in the fridge to keep it fresh.
