Cowboy Chicken Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 8 oz of linguine noodles
02 - 2 big chicken breasts, no bones or skin

→ Sauce (Cowboy Style)

03 - 4 minced garlic cloves
04 - ½ cup of unsalted butter
05 - 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
06 - 1 tablespoon of fresh thyme leaves
07 - A sprinkle of salt and pepper, to suit your taste
08 - 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
09 - 1 teaspoon of onion powder
10 - ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional if you like less spice)
11 - 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
12 - 1 cup of chicken broth

→ Finishing Touch

13 - Parmesan, freshly grated

# Instructions:

01 - Sprinkle spices over the chicken. Cook each side in 2 tablespoons of butter for about 6-7 minutes till golden and fully done. Set it aside for now.
02 - Follow the pack’s instructions to cook your linguine. Before draining, scoop out a cup of the water for later.
03 - Using the same pan, heat leftover butter. Stir in garlic and herbs. Pour in broth and lemon juice. Let it bubble gently for 2-3 minutes.
04 - Slice up the chicken. Mix the pasta with the sauce, adding some saved pasta water if it needs loosening. Stir the chicken in and top with Parmesan and extra herbs.

02 - Control spice levels by adjusting red pepper flakes
