Grab an 8x8 pan and line it with parchment paper so nothing sticks.

In a sturdy pot, cook the chocolate chips, sweet milk, butter, salt, and vanilla over low heat. Stir all the time for about 5-7 minutes until it’s silky. Don’t rush or you’ll scorch it!

Turn off the heat and mix in the black food coloring until it looks coal-dark.

Pour the mixture into your parchment-lined pan, spreading it out flat. Add sprinkles now if using.

Leave the pan to cool down naturally, then cover it and toss it into the fridge for at least 8 hours or overnight to firm up.

Pull the fudge out by lifting the parchment and cut into 1-inch squares.
