Black Coal Fudge (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 14 oz of sweetened condensed milk.
02 - 3 cups of white chocolate chips.
03 - 2 teaspoons of black food gel or coloring.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt flakes.
05 - 2 tablespoons of butter.
06 - 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.
07 - Optional: Sprinkles, black or silver.

# Instructions:

01 - Grab an 8x8 pan and line it with parchment paper so nothing sticks.
02 - In a sturdy pot, cook the chocolate chips, sweet milk, butter, salt, and vanilla over low heat. Stir all the time for about 5-7 minutes until it’s silky. Don’t rush or you’ll scorch it!
03 - Turn off the heat and mix in the black food coloring until it looks coal-dark.
04 - Pour the mixture into your parchment-lined pan, spreading it out flat. Add sprinkles now if using.
05 - Leave the pan to cool down naturally, then cover it and toss it into the fridge for at least 8 hours or overnight to firm up.
06 - Pull the fudge out by lifting the parchment and cut into 1-inch squares.

# Notes:

01 - Dark chocolate needs way less coloring to look black.
02 - Sweetened milk brands may cook at slightly different speeds.
03 - If your fudge turns too soft, you can cook it again to fix it.
