Betty Crocker Cheese Casserole (Print Version)

01 - 12 slices white bread
02 - 6 slices sharp cheddar cheese

03 - 4 egg yolks or 2 whole eggs, beaten
04 - 2.5 cups whole milk
05 - 1 teaspoon salt
06 - 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
07 - 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard

# Instructions:

01 - When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350°F.
02 - Arrange six slices of bread in the bottom of a greased baking dish.
03 - Top each piece of bread with a slice of cheddar cheese.
04 - Place a slice of bread on top of each cheese slice to create sandwiches.
05 - Whisk together egg yolks or eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and mustard in a bowl.
06 - Pour the custard mixture over the sandwiches evenly.
07 - Refrigerate until the bread has softened.
08 - Bake for 1 hour or until the top is golden brown.
