# Ingredients:

→ Cake

01 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar
02 - 1/4 cup soft shortening
03 - 1 egg
04 - 1/2 cup milk
05 - 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
06 - 2 teaspoons baking powder
07 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
08 - 2 cups blueberries

→ Crumb Mixture

09 - 1/2 cup sugar
10 - 1/3 cup sifted all-purpose flour
11 - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
12 - 1/4 cup soft butter

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F and grease and flour a 9-inch square baking pan. Set aside.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, mix together the sugar, shortening, and egg thoroughly.
03 - Stir in the milk.
04 - In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt, then stir into the wet ingredients.
05 - Carefully stir in the blueberries, then transfer to the prepared pan.
06 - Mix together the ingredients for the crumb mixture, then sprinkle over the top of the batter.
07 - Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean, about 45-50 minutes.
08 - Serve warm, fresh from the oven.
