Heat water and sugar in a pot until it boils. Mix in the berries, turn heat down, and simmer for 10 minutes. Strain it after it cools off.

Mix cream and powdered sugar until stiff. Add in mascarpone until smooth.

In your baking dish, start with ladyfingers dipped in the syrup. Add half the creamy filling on top, then arrange berries.

Repeat with another round of soaked ladyfingers and finish with the rest of the creamy layer.

Wrap it in foil and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight. Add fruit on top before serving.
