01 -
Turn your oven on and heat it up to 400°F.
02 -
In a big frying pan, warm it up over medium heat. Toss in your chopped onion, green bell pepper, the ground beef, salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Stir it once in a while and keep cooking for 10 minutes, or until the veggies are tender and the beef’s browned all the way through.
03 -
While the beef mix is cooking, split the hoagie rolls lengthwise (or cut the baguette sections in half the same way) and lay them flat on a baking tray.
04 -
Once the beef is done, mix in the Worcestershire sauce. Put half of the provolone slices over the beef, lower the heat to a gentle simmer, and let the cheese melt for about 2 minutes. Stir it together so the cheese mixes in evenly.
05 -
Grab some tongs and spread the cheesy beef mixture evenly over all the rolls you’ve prepped.
06 -
Top each sandwich with the remaining cheese slices. Pop them back into the oven for 3-5 minutes, just until the cheese on top is nice and gooey, and the rolls have a slight crunch.
